Job summary

Quail Run Elementary School is seeking a SPED Instructional Assistant/Personal Care CNA to support medically fragile students one-on-one and assist the nurse with health care needs. The role involves small group instruction support and collaboration with nurses to meet student educational goals.

The position runs from 08/03/2026 to 05/27/2027, is 7 hours daily, nine months, and reports to the RN for Special Program at Paradise Valley USD 69.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with diverse students.
• Ability to administer basic first aid and support daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Adapts activities and materials to support classroom objectives.
• Assists with mobility and daily living tasks for medically fragile students.
• Collaborates with nurse to meet student health goals.
• Communicates with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and IEPs.
• Maintains instructional materials and records for mandated requirements.
