Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent certification required.
• Criminal Background Clearance required.
• AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance required.
• Experience with medically fragile students preferred.
• Ability to assist with mobility and health-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to medically fragile students and assist with health care needs.
• Assist the teacher with small group instruction and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with the nurse to meet student educational goals.
• Communicate with staff and parents regarding progress and IEP objectives.
• Escort students and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Maintain instructional materials and records as required.
• Monitor students in various school settings to ensure safety.
