Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the daily program under the SPED teacher's direction.
• Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment and supplies.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce instruction.
• Supervise outside playground activities.
• Help with general housekeeping tasks in the classroom.
• Assist the SPED teacher in other appropriate ways and perform clerical tasks.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Operate and care for instructional equipment used in class.
• Follow directions from the head SPED teacher or supervisor.
