Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a SPED Teacher's Aide to support a SPED classroom and help operations that enable teachers to focus on instruction. The role involves assisting with daily activities, planning spaces, and supervising students in and out of the classroom.

The candidate should have a High School degree or equivalent, strong time management, and excellent interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily program under the SPED teacher's direction.
• Plan and prepare the learning environment and needed materials.
• Work with students in small groups to reinforce instruction.
• Supervise outdoor playground activities and support classroom routines.
• Perform clerical tasks and assist with general housekeeping as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required by the district.
• Operate instructional equipment and follow the SPED teacher's guidance.
• Support the SPED teacher to ensure student safety and learning.
• Maintain confidentiality about students and families.
• Collaborate with staff to promote student success and school goals.
