Qualifications

• High School degree, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Experience working with children, preferably with disabilities.
• Be in the process of becoming professionally prepared to supervise young children.
• Commitment to CSUSA values and the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the daily program under the direction of the SPED teacher.
• Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment and materials for students.
• Work individually or in small groups with students to review classroom instruction.
• Supervise outside playground activities.
• Perform clerical tasks.
• Attend staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences.
