Job summary

Charter Schools USA Inc. is seeking a SPED Teacher's Aide to support a SPED classroom under the supervision of the lead teacher. You will help implement daily programs and guide students in classroom activities to foster learning.

You will also assist in preparing materials, supervising students during activities, and participating in staff meetings and training to uphold CSUSA's standards of excellence and safety.

Qualifications

• High School degree, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Successful results of criminal and employment background check.
• Experience in working with children, preferably children with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of the daily program under the direction of the SPED teacher.
• Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up centers, and materials for daily activities.
• Work with students in small groups to review instruction and assist answering questions.
• Supervise outside playground activities and general housekeeping tasks.
• Attend staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences.
• Follow directions from the SPED teacher and supervisor.
