Job summary

Under the direction of the SPED teacher, you will prep materials, supervise small groups, attend meetings, perform clerical tasks, and uphold confidentiality and safety in a collaborative school community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
• Ability to manage time and organize tasks effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Commitment to CSUSA values and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the daily SPED program under the supervision of the SPED teacher.
• Plan and prepare learning environments and materials.
• Work with students individually or in small groups.
• Supervise playground and school activities.
• Perform clerical tasks and attend staff trainings.
• Maintain confidentiality about students and families.
• Support classroom management and safety.
