Job summary

Clear Creek ISD seeks a SPED Teacher for Behavior Monitoring Support Services (BMSS) at the secondary level for the 2026-27 anticipated openings in League City, TX. The teacher will collaborate with ARD committees, implement IEP goals, and provide integrated instruction and behavioral supports.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate for the assigned subject/level, and at least one year of student teaching or approved internship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas certificate for the subject and level assigned.
• At least one year of student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Guide the learning of students in accordance with the district’s philosophy of education toward the achievement of curriculum goals and the student’s IEP.
• Collaborate with students, parents, and other staff to develop IEP through ARD Committee process for each student.
• Implement an instructional, therapeutic, or skill development program for assigned students and show written evidence of preparation as required.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies reflecting understanding of learning styles and needs of assigned students.
• Present subject matter according to guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency, board policies, administrative guidelines and the District curriculum.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student learning and use results to plan and implement instruction.
