Job summary

Clear Creek ISD is seeking an Aide - Behavior Monitoring Support Services (BMSS) for the 2026-27 school year at Robinson Elementary in Seabrook, TX. The role supports identified students with disabilities in a district social development class and assists in implementing instruction and behavioral interventions.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, Educational Aide II certification, 48 college hours or passing Paraprofessional Exam, and at least 8 hours of training in crisis

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Educational Aide II certification required.
• 48 college hours or passing score on Paraprofessional Exam.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 8 hours training in physical restraint and crises intervention.
• Experience working with children in formal or informal settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher by providing instruction and behavioral interventions for assigned students.
• Responsible for safe procedures of physical intervention with acting-out students.
• Implement positive and negative reinforcement for student behaviors.
• Supervise time-out and/or isolation of students.
• Monitor and document data for student records.
• Assist in preparation of instructional materials and routine records.
• Monitor students in settings outside the special education classroom.
• Maintain student confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrates support for CCISD Core Values and district goals.
• Participate as an effective team member contributing to goals.
