Job summary

Pasadena Independent School District is seeking a SPED Aide BSS to support identified students with disabilities who require additional supervision throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include assisting the teacher with routine classroom management, preparing instructional materials, helping students with homework and tests, and adapting assignments as needed under supervision. Starting salary is $126.62 per day for 185 duty days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate required.
• PAC Test / 48 College Hours required.
• Bilingual Test required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in routine classroom management duties.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials.
• Assist in maintaining classroom environment and supplies.
• Assist students in homework preparation and test taking.
• Modify teacher's assignments, tests, and other instructional entities.
