Job summary

Lowe Elementary in Waller ISD is seeking a Paraprofessional-Inclusive Practices to support students with disabilities in general education, bilingual and resource settings. Under supervision of a certified teacher, you will assist with instructional materials, behavior support, and data collection for student progress.

Responsibilities include in-class support, small group work, and collaboration with teachers to implement classroom programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Texas Education Aide Certification preferred.
• Ability to work well with children with disabilities; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adapt instructional materials under the direction of the teacher.
• Work one-on-one and/or in small groups as directed by the teacher.
• Collect data regarding student progress.
• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
