Job summary

Ccsdut is seeking an Aide – SPED Essential Elements to support instructional programs for students with severe disabilities in a Utah classroom. You will assist with instruction, IEP implementation, and health-related tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities include adapting activities, supporting daily living tasks, monitoring safety, and documenting progress. Requires a high school diploma and willingness to work in a school setting; 29 hours per week, non-exempt, on-site location.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety practices and procedures.
• Experience using classroom tech and office equipment.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Adapt activities and materials to reinforce instructional objectives.
• Assist students with daily living activities and instruction.
• Provide health-related assistance and personal care as directed.
• Monitor student safety and behavior.
• Support implementation of IEP goals and instructional plans.
