Sylvania is seeking an Aide – SPED Resource to support students with mild to moderate disabilities in a Logan, Utah school. The role is approximately 29 hours per week, Monday through Friday, under supervision to help implement IEP goals and assist instruction.

The position emphasizes safety, behavioral support, and collaboration with teachers and staff; prior experience and district-required training are preferred.

Qualificações

• Follow safety practices and procedures.
• Operate classroom technology and office equipment.
• Maintain accurate student records.

Responsabilidades

• Adapt classroom activities to reinforce instructional objectives.
• Assist medically fragile or disabled students with personal care and health needs.
• Implement behavioral or instructional plans developed by IEP teams.
• Provide individual and small group instructional support.
• Monitor students during classroom and school activities.
• Maintain instructional materials and student records.
• Communicate with teachers and staff regarding student progress.
• Attend meetings and trainings related to student support.
• Respond to emergencies involving students.
