Job summary

Auria is seeking a Spectrum Systems Engineer at Fort Meade, MD, with hybrid work schedule requiring 2 days/week on-site. You will support electromagnetic environment analyses, develop RF models, and contribute to software tools for defense programs.

Qualifications include a technical degree in EE/Physics/Math and 2+ years in spectrum operations or RF design; C++, Python, NodeJS proficiency; and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance. This role offers strong growth and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• 2+ years in federal spectrum operations or RF systems is desirable.
• Ability to discuss wireless RF systems and DoD receiver operations.
• Knowledge of RF propagation equations and antenna fundamentals.
• Demonstrable command of C++, Python, NodeJS, or similar languages.
• Candidate must be able to obtain SECRET clearance (US citizen).

Responsibilities

• Perform electromagnetic compatibility analyses to verify MSP installations.
• Develop methods to mitigate EMI where needed.
• Search government C-E system records for RF data.
• Use RF modelling to predict intermodulation, radiation hazards, and EMI.
• Develop and debug RF modelling algorithms and integrate subsystems in a spectrum-focused software system.
• Write C++, Python, NodeJS, or similar code.
