Job summary

Amentum in Houston is seeking a Spectrum Communications Team Lead to join the JETSII contract with Intuitive Machines, supporting NASA centers and federal agencies. The role requires leadership of spectrum engineers, coordination of RF tasks, and strong knowledge of RF communications and modulation techniques.

You will lead task scheduling, develop link budgets, and represent the team in cross‑agency interfaces while maintaining customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 5–10 years of related experience.
• Experience with RF communications; knowledge of digital modulation/demodulation.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident and ability to pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Perform spectrum management & coordination for RF systems.
• Determine RF link performance and create link budgets using analysis or tools.
• Perform RF interference and compatibility analysis for space-based systems.
