Job summary

Intuitive Machines, a leader in space systems, is seeking a Communications Test Lead in Houston, TX. You will drive integration and test strategies for flight-critical communications, leading a team and coordinating across space and ground projects.

This role combines technical leadership with hands-on testing to ensure high performance and reliability. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in space or ground communications test, expertise in V&V and test automation, and strong collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in space and/or ground communications systems testing.
• Proven track record testing flight and/or ground space comms systems.
• Strong knowledge of V&V methodologies and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the communications test strategy across space flight and ground systems.
• Conduct performance reviews and guide career goals for team members.
• Establish and enforce cross-mission test processes.
• Manage requirements traceability, verification and validation activities.
• Mentor test engineers to develop and execute test plans and frameworks.
• Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across the org.
• Participate in software sprints across multiple projects.
