We have an exciting opportunity for a Spectrum Communications Team Lead to join the JETSII Contract with Intuitive Machines, a teammate company.
Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and normally possess 5- 10 years of related experience. License and certification may be required.
BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school and fourteen (10) years of related engineering experience, or a MS degree from an accredited engineering school and twelve (8) years of related engineering experience, or Ph.D. from an accredited engineering school and nine (5) years of related experience. Less experience shall be considered if the candidate has experience in core competencies.
A BS or a MS degree in Electrical Engineering or physical sciences from an accredited engineering school
Johnson Space Center onsite position
Must have completed college level RF Communications coursework and have good knowledge of communication systems such as digital modulation/demodulation, encoding/decoding, spread spectrum signals, signal detection, data formatting and packetizing
Strong analytical skills in RF communications
Excellent communication and organizational skills along with the ability to work in a team environment
Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident (3 years) and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
Experience with Spectrum (frequency) management including NTIA spectrum approval process, review of spectrum requests, spectrum sharing and interference analysis
Programming languages such as C/C++ and Python

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
