Job summary

Amentum is hiring a Spectrum Communications Team Lead to join the JETSII Contract with Intuitive Machines. You will manage RF spectrum coordination, assess link budgets, and perform interference analyses for space-based communications.

This onsite role requires strong analytical and collaboration skills with NASA centers and federal partners. Ideal candidates possess a technical engineering degree, 5–10 years of related experience, and familiarity with Matlab/Simulink, STK, and RF modeling

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with related experience.
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or physical sciences from an accredited school.
Familiar with RF communications coursework and modulation techniques.
U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform spectrum management and coordination for RF systems across NASA centers.
Determine RF link budgets and DS/FD analysis using analytics or tools.
Conduct RF interference and compatibility analyses for space-based comms.
Reduce data, analyze results, and present findings to customers.
Lead spectrum engineers, assign tasks, and coordinate with PM.
