Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s in engineering and 5–10 years related experience.
• RF communications coursework completed and strong modulation knowledge.
• Experience with spectrum management and NTIA processes preferred.
• Strong analytic skills in RF communications and link budgets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform spectrum management & coordination for RF systems across NASA centers.
• Evaluate RF link performance and create link budgets analytically or with tools.
• Conduct RF interference analysis for space-based systems.
• Reduce data, analyze results, and present findings to customers.
• Demonstrate knowledge of digital modulation, coding, and spectra.
• Represent JSC and coordinate with NASA centers and partners.
