HII, Mission Technologies, is seeking a Spectrum Certification Engineer to support our work with the Government. Our Spectrum Certification Engineers support the execution of the National Level spectrum certification process for mission critical systems. The successful candidate will have the sufficient radio frequency (RF) engineering background required to perform detailed spectrum analysis, prepare, and track DD Form 1494s and EL‑CID files, and provide RF Engineering guidance/technical inputs to System Program Offices (SPO) submissions across all phases of the government acquisition life cycle. The candidate will also participate in Service level process improvement initiatives to identify trends impacting timely certification approval actions by the Spectrum Planning Subcommittee (SPS), Equipment Spectrum Guidance Permanent Working Group (ESG PWG), and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA).
This is an onsite position that will be located in Fort Meade, MD.
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
