Job summary

As part of a collaborative environment, you will guide entry-level staff on procedures, respond to alarms, support 6S initiatives, and communicate across cross-functional teams to maintain quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some CAP/CLIA locations may require a Bachelor's.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use internal systems.
• Knowledge of specimen accessioning, inventory management, storage, and shipment processes.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Accession, label, sort, store, and ship clinical specimens accurately and efficiently
• Maintain freezer systems, specimen inventories, and storage records
• Identify potential issues with specimens or processes and elevate concerns when appropriate
• Guide entry-level staff on routine procedures and support onboarding activities
• Respond to after‑hours alarms and other critical operational requirements as needed
