UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a dedicated Specimen Processor to join the Laboratory Services team. You will label, process, and route patient specimens, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities include centrifuging, aliquoting, maintaining specimen integrity, and documenting information in LIS and EPIC Beaker. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous specimen processing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Label and process patient specimens accurately and route to the correct laboratory area.
• Follow procedures for centrifuging, aliquoting, and maintaining specimen integrity.
• Verify orders and contact physicians for unclear information when needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; monitor equipment and safety.
• Document all specimen information in LIS and EPIC Beaker as required.
