Job summary

This role requires a high school diploma, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, and the ability to work Tue-Sat 10:00–6:30. Experience in a lab setting is preferred, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet for business use.
• Able to work Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6:30pm.
• One to three years of general laboratory operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Open packages and video receipt of all incoming specimens for clinical processing.
• Create and manage patient cases, set up new cases, update current cases, and enter specimens in the system.
• Open/close specimen and case discrepancies; ensure accurate information and timely processing.
• Coordinate with Client Services, IHC, PAs, Pathologists and Reporting.
• Maintain filing, tracking, retrieval, and accurate record keeping; QA/QC for cases and documentation.
