Job summary

AdventHealth Parker is seeking a dedicated phlebotomy technician to join our night shift team in Parker, Colorado. You will perform venous, capillary, and specimen collections, ensure proper labeling, and maintain accurate documentation to support patient care.

Responsibilities include complying with CLIA, CAP, TJC, and OSHA requirements, communicating critical results, and supporting continuous improvement in service quality and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• CPT certification required (NHA/NPCE/APST)
• 1+ year phlebotomy experience
• BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze, correlate, and interpret data with advanced troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, TJC, and OSHA requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and assess staff performance.
• Handle inquiries and resolve complaints related to laboratory services.
• Communicate critical results to providers and other departments to assure continuity of care.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented environment aligned with the mission of AdventHealth.
• Follow policies to meet regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, quality, and cost containment.
• Perform specimen collection and processing as defined by site.
• Operate and troubleshoot testing-related processes and equipment.
• Monitor test system performance and take corrective action.
