Job summary

Millennium Health is hiring a Full-Time Specimen Collector in Shoreline, WA to collect patient urine and oral fluid specimens, package respectively for shipping, and act as the liaison between clinics and our laboratory.

The role requires 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical patient support, plus strong phone and computer skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in medical field supporting patients.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as an intermediary between the practice/clinic and the laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens as applicable.
• Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required.
