Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Part Time Specimen Collector in Everett, Washington. The role involves collecting urine and/or oral fluid specimens, packaging them for shipping, and serving as a liaison between clinical practices and the laboratory.

Candidates must have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in a medical setting, with strong customer service skills. Travel between facilities may be required; a valid driver’s license and routine smartphone/computer use are needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute for medical experience.
• Ability to navigate a smartphone and computer.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• HIPAA/HiTrust/compliance familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice / clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient and order details in the system.
• Resolve specimen-related issues in the ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
• Driving between facilities may be required.
