Job summary

You will document results in the LIS, follow isolation protocols, train new staff, and maintain competency across procedures, including therapeutic drug-monitoring sample collection, to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of NAACLS approved phlebotomy program preferred.
• Phlebotomist certification with ASCP or AMT preferred.
• Ability to assess patient data and provide appropriate age-related care.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection procedures, including venipunctures and nonblood specimens.
• Ensure correct patient identification and specimen labeling.
• Verify requisitions and LIS documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain specimen integrity and proper handling.
