Qualifications

• Certified phlebotomist with formal training and clinical exposure.
• Experience obtaining blood specimens from patients of all ages.
• Proficient in registering patients and verifying insurance during visits.
• Skilled with LIS/LIS-based workflows and specimen transport procedures.

Responsibilities

• Procure blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing.
• Collect, transport, and label specimens ensuring integrity.
• Perform EKGs using GE carts and MUSE software as needed.
• Register patients, verify insurance, and check medical necessity.
• Use HIS to enter registrations, process orders, and scan documents.
