Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical support, 2+ years in customer service, and strong mobile/computer skills. A valid driver’s license, HIPAA awareness, and a HS diploma are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can supplement medical background.
• Proficient with smartphones and computer usage required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• HIPAA/HiTrust compliance awareness and security practices essential.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical ability: sit 60%, walk 20%, stand 20%, lift up to 20 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens as required.
• Process and package collections for shipping to the lab.
• Serve as liaison between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, orders, and lab details accurately.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient data in the portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection procedures for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
