Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute medical experience.
• Must navigate smartphone and computer.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• HIPAA/HiTrust compliance awareness required.
• Ability to meet administrative, physical, and cyber security controls.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, orders, and lab details.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies onsite.
• Observe collection procedures when applicable.
• Travel to multiple facilities; overnight coverage may be required.
