Carolina Animal Specialty and Emergency (CASE) in Hickory, NC is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist / CSR to support our Specialty team, primarily in Surgery and Rehabilitation. You’ll also assist Internal Medicine and Emergency services, ensuring smooth patient flow and excellent client service.

We value compassionate communication, organization, and the ability to navigate fast-paced, multi-department environments.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of veterinary reception or CSR experience.
• Experience working in a veterinary hospital.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, compassionate and professional in emotional situations.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and support clients: Provide professional, compassionate service to clients and their pets throughout their visit.
• Coordinate specialty care: Schedule appointments, manage patient check-in and check-out, and support daily workflows for Surgery and Rehabilitation.
• Communicate with care teams: Coordinate with veterinarians, technicians, and other departments to support patient flow and client needs.
• Manage records and payments: Maintain accurate electronic medical records, verify client information, process invoices and payments, and manage related documentation.
• Support hospital operations: Answer incoming calls, relay messages, assist with client updates and follow-up communication, and provide reception coverage for Internal Medicine and Emergency when needed.
• Maintain an organized environment: Help keep the reception area welcoming, professional, and efficient.
