Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Trainee to participate in rotational assignments across an assigned specialty area, gaining exposure to multiple functions within the company.

You will complete required training, develop knowledge of the business, and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver measurable improvements. The program emphasizes learning, mentorship, and preparing for future functional or managerial roles.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 4 year degree may be preferred depending on assigned specialty area.
  • Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement techniques and practices.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization and in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to relocate, depending on assigned specialty area.

Responsibilities

Job description

Make a difference. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to prepare for a functional or managerial role in an assigned specialty area of the Company by completing rotational assignments, and gaining work experience and exposure to various functions and business units throughout the Company.

Shift Hours and Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Compensation Details

The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $23.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
