Apple Inc. seeks a Specialty Surfaces Specialist to manage auditing, maintenance, repair, and preservation of unique surfaces across Santa Clara Valley facilities.

You will coordinate with specialty vendors, ensure high‑quality service, budget adherence, accurate invoicing, and compliance with Apple policies. The role supports corporate events, requires after‑hours work, and emphasizes leveraging AI tools to improve reporting, vendor oversight, and operational efficiency.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience managing facilities maintenance programs and specialty trade vendors, including scoping and scheduling.
• Experience coordinating multiple client needs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to respond to after-hours surface issues as needed.
• Familiarity with tools such as Integrated Workplace Management Solutions, service request management, MS Office/iWork, and Box.
• Proficiency with AI tools, and a demonstrated ability to apply them to everyday work.

• Oversee all aspects of specialty surface care and long-term preservation of surfaces.
• Direct vendors to ensure compliance with Apple policies and procedures.
• Support events by coordinating cleaning, polishing, and restoration of specialty surfaces before and after events.
• Work with Places partners on scheduling and prioritization of projects.
• Incorporate AI to improve reporting, vendor oversight, and operational efficiency.
• Manage budgets, invoices, and forecasts; validate proposals and invoices.
• Maintain an inventory and condition assessment program for building surfaces and finishes.
• Own material care standards and verify the quality of restorative work through inspections.
• Develop multiyear restoration forecasts and track warranty compliance.
• Set surface protection and planning protocols for construction, events, moves, and occupied spaces.
• Collaborate with Project Management and design teams on material selection and handover documentation.
