Job summary

Target in Waterford, CT is seeking a Specialty Sales Team Leader to deliver a guest-first shopping experience across Apparel and Accessories, Home, Baby, Core Beauty and Electronics. You will lead a team of hourly associates, coach for exceptional guest service, and ensure merchandising standards align with store goals.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills, with a focus on delivering consistent service and driving sales while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Able to lead and coach team members.
• Ability to communicate across devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience.
• Observe and provide feedback, hold team members accountable while recognizing great guest moments.
• Review area guest, financial, and team metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
• Lead a team of hourly team members; coach, develop, and retain talent.
• Assist with merchandising, planograms, and store operations to support sales goals and guest experience.
