Job summary

Corewell Health Southfield Center seeks a Specialty Pharmacy Patient Management Program team member for a full-time day shift (8:30-5:00 or 7:00-3:30) to join the Pharmacy Consolidated Services Center.

In this role you will provide pharmaceutical care per standards, participate in medication management programs, supervise data collection and reporting, and help train staff while upholding safety and cost-conscious practices.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy. Preferred
• LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

Responsibilities

• Under moderate direction and supervision, operate in designated areas or job functions within the site location.
• Functions relatively independently and has some decision-making responsibility.
• May interact with other departments and/or businesses outside of the pharmacy department.
• Enhanced knowledge/training of area assigned above and beyond a pharmacy technician.
• Participates in training of employees in the area of specialty.
• Operates in a designated area of specialty or assigned responsibilities above and beyond technician duties.
• Assumes ownership and ensures quality and completeness of work assigned.
• Responsible for data collection and/or reporting related to assigned area/project.
• Serves as a role model and leader in the department.
• Escalates any concerns that are identified in their area of work through chain of command.

About the Unit
