Corewell Health Southfield Center is hiring a full-time Specialty Pharmacy Patient Management Program technician. You will provide pharmaceutical care per standards, and support medication management programs with day shift hours (8:30-5:00 or 7:00-3:30).
You will operate with some independence, participate in training, and help collect data and reports while upholding safety and quality in a collaborative team environment.
Provides Pharmaceutical Care according to professional and departmental standards and statutory requirements. Provides safe, effective, rational, and cost-conscious pharmacotherapeutic recommendations through the department's medication management programs.
Under moderate direction and supervision, operate in designated areas or job functions within the site location. Functions relatively independently and has some decision-making responsibility. May interact with other departments and/or businesses outside of the pharmacy department. Enhanced knowledge/training of area assigned above and beyond a pharmacy technician. Participates in training of employees in the area of specialty.
Operates in a designated area of specialty or assigned responsibilities above and beyond technician duties. Assumes ownership and ensures quality and completeness of work assigned. Responsible for data collection and/or reporting related to assigned area/project. Serves as a role model and leader in the department. Escalates any concerns that are identified in their area of work through chain of command.
