Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital or similar experience.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and USP <797> standards.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Attention to detail and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency with EPIC and other healthcare software.
• Knowledge of brand/generic medications.

Responsibilities

• Sterile compounding and preparation of IV admixtures and other sterile products.
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout the compounding process.
• Quality assurance of equipment, cleanrooms, and laminar hoods.
• Inventory management of sterile drugs and supplies.
• Documentation of compounding activities and batch records.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and nurses to meet patient needs.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE use, and waste disposal.
• Prepare parenteral mixtures and load into ADC as required.
• Assist pharmacists to formulate, label, and dispense medications.
