Qualifications

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Solid attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Contact patients and caregivers to coordinate medication shipments and refill requests
• Build compassionate relationships through excellent customer service
• Support medication adherence and help patients stay on therapy
• Process new prescription orders and refill requests
• Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and payment options
• Document patient information, concerns, and treatment updates
• Coordinate with pharmacists, nurses, providers, and physician offices
• Track shipments, deliveries, and order status updates
• Maintain accurate records throughout prescription fulfillment
• Assist with pharmacy operations and medication fulfillment activities
• Utilize pharmacy systems and Microsoft Excel to support workflow management
• Ensure patients receive medications and supplies accurately and on time
