Job summary

Cox Medical Center Branson seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory and patient records. The role operates under a registered pharmacist with emphasis on sterile and hazardous drug compounding.

Requirements include national Pharmacy Technician certification and Missouri registration (or in-process within 90 days). Day shift with rotating every other weekend, with strong computer skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint are

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician from a nationally accredited organization.
• Registered with Missouri State Board of Pharmacy or in process within 90 days of hire.
• Annual sterile compounding competency CE completed through current sterile compounding competency program.
• Annual hazardous drug compounding competency CE completed through current sterile compounding competency within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
• Maintain drug inventory and patient records.
• Work under supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Staff majority of time in hazardous compounding role.
