Job summary

Cox Medical Center Branson is seeking a Lead Pharmacist (Pharmacist-in-Charge) for the designated pharmacy group. The role provides daily direction to pharmacists and technicians, manages prescription orders, verifies medications, and monitors patient drug therapies with education for patients.

The PIC will oversee regulatory compliance, pursue clinical initiatives, and may assume pharmacy leadership duties in the absence of the leader. Training on procedures and safety will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy
  • Experience: 1-2 years supervisory experience
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Missouri Board of Pharmacy licensed or eligible and licensure within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for success in this fast-paced, patient-focused role.
