Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active OH pharmacy technician license.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (e.g., PTCB or ExCPhT).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients, providers, insurance companies, and pharmacy staff regarding prescription fulfillment.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations.
• Resolve or escalate issues related to billing or clinical concerns.
• Collect co-payments and assist patients with financial support programs.
• Prepare medications for shipment and assist with packaging.
• Maintain workstation supplies and cleanliness.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
