Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join our Peoria team. Under the Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will assist with obtaining information for dispensing, contacting doctors and patients, and translating prescription details into our dispensing software.

You will handle patient data, help prepare orders for shipping, and support pharmacy operations while complying with federal and state regulations. This onsite role offers a supportive environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; National CPhT and/or state registration required per state of residence.
Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
Commitment to compliance programs and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
Contact doctors to obtain necessary prescription information to fill a prescription.
Manage queues and process oldest orders first to ensure timely dispensing.
Ensure correct shipment of specialty pharmacy orders.
Maintain adequate inventory of pharmaceuticals and assist with ordering and stocking.
Adhere to all applicable federal and state laws with high ethical standards.
