Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join our team in Germantown, MD. Under the Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will assist with obtaining information for dispensing and adjudicating medications, handling phone calls, and communicating with doctors and patients to ensure accurate dispensing.

You will work with the dispensing software, verify patient details, and support other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to participate in compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary prescription information.
• Manage queues and process oldest orders first.
• Ensure correct shipment of specialty pharmacy orders.
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and assist with ordering and stocking.
