Job summary

Lumicera Health Services, Peoria, IL, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to assist pharmacists in dispensing and adjudicating medications, contacting doctors and patients, and translating prescription details for dispensing software. The role supports multiple areas of the facility as needed and emphasizes accuracy and compliance.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED with National CPhT/licensure where applicable, and 2+ years of pharmacy support or healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CPhT/licensure per state requirements.
• At least two years of pharmacy support or healthcare experience.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with coworkers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary prescription information.
• Manage queues and work oldest orders first.
• Ensure correct shipment of specialty pharmacy orders.
• Maintain adequate inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
