Job summary

Corewell Health Southfield Center seeks a Supervisor in its Specialty Pharmacy division to oversee operations that dispense specialty medications, with high-cost drugs requiring special handling and ongoing patient support. You will monitor for rare, complex, or chronic conditions and lead a team of pharmacists and technicians.

The role focuses on leadership, collaboration, and ensuring adherence to regulations while delivering exceptional patient care in a mail-order and call-center environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy Required.
• Two years of relevant experience Required.
• Skills, knowledge, abilities gained through at least 1 year of related lead or supervisory experience Preferred.
• MI Clinical Pharmacist within ninety days Required.
• MI Pharmacist Controlled Substance within ninety days Required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision and operation of a specific area of expertise.
• Promote team efforts to manage and achieve departmental objectives.
• Coordinate process improvement activities and assist with program development.
• Ensure compliance with current regulations and operate multiple medication automation systems.
