Job summary

Amber Specialty Pharmacy seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the Operations team as a Specialty Pharmacy Program Liaison. You will serve as the main contact for patients, providers, and payers, handling requests, resolutions, and data updates to support specialty programs.

The role requires national CPhT certification, 3+ years of technician experience, HIPAA awareness, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This is an in-office position with regular weekday hours and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Experienced pharmacy technician with national CPhT certification.
• Two years of experience in healthcare setting and/or insurance background preferred.
• HIPAA trained and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between specialty pharmacy, patients, insurance providers and manufacturers via phone, fax, online and e-mail communications.
• Primary point of contact for client inquiries and escalations; resolve issues and provide timely information.
• Collaborates with multiple departments to onboard new patients and ensure accurate processing of prescriptions.
