Job summary

Colwyn Group in Lufkin, TX is seeking a Pharmacy Manager / PIC to lead clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered specialty services. Relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus are available for an experienced pharmacist.

This on-site, full-time role requires strong leadership, expertise in specialty medications, and active Texas licensure to oversee licensure, controlled substances, and audits. You will mentor staff and optimize patient access to complex therapies.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent required; Texas license active and eligible for PIC.
• Experience leading a specialty/pharmacy operations team.
• Strong knowledge of oncology and complex therapies; DEA/compliance familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Compliance: ensure state/federal laws, Board regs, DEA, and accreditation standards.
• Operational Leadership: oversee daily dispensing, safety, and clinical protocols; supervise staff.
• Clinical & Patient Support: counsel patients, conduct prior authorizations, and assist with benefits.
• Strategic & Workflow Development: grow services and optimize workflows from receipt to dispensing.
• Inventory management, recalls, documentation, and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with providers to improve patient access and outcomes.
