Job summary
House Rx, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist with specialty experience to serve as PIC at our Lufkin, TX site. This onsite role supports specialty clinics and ensures regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care. Relocation and sign-on bonus are available.
The ideal candidate will lead pharmacy operations, supervise staff, and collaborate with providers to optimize formulary access and care for specialty patients.
Qualifications
- PharmD or equivalent and licensed pharmacist in the operating state.
- PIC experience preferred.
- Experience leading pharmacy operations and staff training.
- Strong knowledge of specialty medications and oncology space.
- Ability to work onsite in Lufkin, TX and collaborate with care teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, boards, DEA, and standards.
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge with licensure oversight and regulatory inspections.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure accurate dispensing and patient safety.
- Lead audits, maintain records, and respond to regulators.
- Supervise pharmacists and technicians and ensure continuing education.
- Collaborate with clinics to optimize formulary access and care.
- Manage inventory, recalls, and temperature-sensitive drugs.
- Support strategic growth and value-based care initiatives.
- Provide patient counseling and prior authorization reviews.
