Job summary

Specialty Care Rx in Plano, TX is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a full-time, on-site role. You will dispense specialty medications, verify prescriptions, counsel patients and caregivers, and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent; active Texas license.
• Clinical skills in medication therapy management and monitoring.
• Experience in specialty hospital/clinical settings preferred.
• Strong counseling and communication abilities; culturally sensitive care.

Responsibilities

• Dispense specialty medications and verify prescriptions.
• Counsel patients and caregivers on safe/effective use of medications.
• Collaborate with prescribers, nurses and payers to optimize therapy outcomes.
