Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Manager of Patient Services based in Louisiana with a hybrid schedule and 50% travel across LA/MS. You will lead a team of pharmacy liaisons in hospital clinics, coaching staff and aligning operations with Shields best practices to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires a pharmacy license, supervisory experience, and strong collaboration with clinic leadership. Relocation/sign-on may be available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience.
5 years healthcare or pharmacy experience with direct patient/clinician contact.
Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License required; CPhT certification preferred.
Experience in retail, hospital or outpatient clinic settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

Leads assigned Specialty Liaison team, managing activities to provide high-quality patient experiences.
Coach and develop liaison staff and instill Shields culture at health system partner sites.
Provide ongoing performance coaching, training, and development to liaison teams.
Facilitate communication between liaison, Shields, pharmacy, and clinic teams.
Meet or exceed site operational targets around service, growth, and patient outcomes.
Identify and implement improvement initiatives to drive growth and efficiency.
Ensure coverage for Specialty Liaisons when absent from work.
Collaborate with data analytics and Patient Support Center to act on opportunities.
